About Us

Founder, Diana Stoneberg lost her only son, Wolfgang 23, on April 15, 2018.

He was a geologist, killer guitarist, and like many, loved life and most of all Earth. Diana, a lifelong filmmaker and recent realtor, acquired 2 acres up on Mingus Mountain in Arizona. In February of 2024, she went up to the north side of her land, armed with a rake and a shovel, and began to dig.

She wasn’t quite sure what she was going to do with the land, but she knew she wanted to create a space for others who had lost children. The labyrinth came about as a result of the many rocks she had from her son’s collection, along with the numerous boulders on the land.

As she created the labyrinth, a number of other areas began to develop:
A Fire Pit, A Wishing well, Trails to meditation benches, A “tree of names” to the west of the labyrinth, where the children’s names are inscribed on metal disks. A brick path where people can paint the names of the children on a single brick.

Future projects include: A chapel where people can meditate and reflect. A greenhouse to grow flowers as remembrances. And numerous meditation benches ,located all around the property.
