Neon - A noble gas!
Neon - A noble gas! A neon Exhibition by Yavapai College Professor Kris Waid-Jones, ASU Professor Jim White and various other Arizona neon artists present an exhibition highlighting neon art, its versatility and radiant beauty. During electrical storms, ancient mariners first observed a faint glow within their sealed glass barometer chambers. Thus, the noble gasses were discovered. In time, their unique properties were put to use to create light in the form of neon signage. The medium remains an ideal method to convey text, yet is remarkably adaptive and vividly expressive in other artistic applications Opening Reception + Art Walk Friday, October 25, 2019 - 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm Artist talk: 6:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday: 10am ? 3pm
