The Verde Valley has hundreds of bird species. Arizona is part of an international program recognizing places that are special to birds. The Verde Valley has four! Join Tice Supplee and Jennie MacFarland as they celebrate the region’s bird habitats through engaging photos and insights into many of its beautiful birds. The Important Bird Areas (IBAs) of the Verde Valley achieved their designations with the efforts of local volunteers documenting the unique value of these areas.
