Competing this year are Doc's BBQ & Whisky\, Touchmark at the Ranch\, Texas Roadhouse\, Mark's Beer Garden\, Golden Corral Buffet & Grill\, and The Raven Cafe. Guests can taste all six competing chilis and cast their vote for the People's Choice award\, while a panel of local community leaders will select the Judges' Favorites. Most importantly\, 100% of proceeds from the Chili Cook-Off portion of the event stay local\, supporting scholarships for youth throughout Yavapai County. Advance tickets are $25 through October 1 and will be available online and from local Rotarians. Tickets are $30 at the door. The evening will also feature a bucket raffle and cash bar. In conjunction with World Polio Day\, and guests can "Show the Love" for their favorite chef by dropping a separate donation into that chef's polio bucket. All Show the Love donations benefit Rotary's fight to eradicate polio. Rotary polio contributions are matched 2-to-1 by the Gates Foundation\, turning every $1 into $3 toward polio eradication.
