Local First Arizona Hosts Verde Valley Holiday Shopping Passport Campaign
Want to shop locally this holiday season? Local First Arizona is working to increase customer traffic to our amazing independent businesses this holiday season with the Verde Valley Holiday Shopping Passport. Let us help you find special gifts and holiday celebration needs while exploring Verde Valley retail locations at the same time.
This interactive shopping experience, designed to increase traffic to independently owned businesses in the Verde Valley during the Holiday season, will start Black Friday, November 24th, 2017 and last through New Year’s Day, January 1st, 2018.
Win Some Great Prizes!
Spend money in at least 5 of the 20 participating businesses or a total of $150, and be entered to win the Grand Prize of $200 in cash or gift cards for shopping sprees and prizes ranging from $25 to $150 in value. Just submit your completed passport at a participating business or other pick up location when you have completed your local shopping experience. Winners will be announced at the January Local First Arizona mixer in Northern Arziona, details to follow.
We All Win When We Shop Locally
Last year this program brought nearly $30,000 to downtown businesses in Flagstaff. We hope to replicate this successful holiday program in the Verde Valley and educate consumers on the importance of shopping in locally owned, independent businesses for holiday gifts, decorations,and personal celebrations. We will be linking arms with you and the independent business community to drive more sales into our community and to keep money circulating locally.

Pick up your holiday passport at any participating business location (see full list below), at the Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce, Camp Verde Community Library, and Jerome Chamber of Commerce.
